• Area: Thatchfield
• Children’s Ages: Grade 2 – Girl, Grade 2 – Girl and Grade 1 – Girl
• Working hours: Monday – Friday 06:40 – 07:40 & Monday – Thursday: 13:30 – 16:30, Friday: 13:30- 14:30 (no homework on Friday)
• School holiday hours: Same as above / Slightly Flexible
• Duties: Take to school in the mornings, Collect from school, Assist with and supervise homework, facilitate play and fun activities.
• Special Requirements: Has been driving for at least 2 years, can speak either English and Afrikaans or English and Zulu, or English and Sepedi/Sesotho or English or Xhosa, this is to assist with language homework
• Start Date and contract term: January 2026 – permanent contract
• Salary: R12 000pm (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.76)

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
