Requirements

• Diploma in Nature Conservation or Environmental Management.
• A minimum of 1 year Project Management experience is essential for this position.
• 2 Years’s experience in invasive alien plant clearing is essential for this position.
• 2 Years’s experience in health and safety management and compliance.
• Computer literacy in MS office packages.
• Code 08 driver’s license is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with strategic and operational planning of the project.
• Coordination and mentoring of EPWP contractors.
• Ensure the management of quality, production and monitoring of task-based operations linked to the project.
• Ensure compliance to program standards/norms and Health and Safety requirements.
• Assist with financial management of the project.
• Ensure database information for the project is maintained and updated.
• Assist with administrative management.
• Asset, stock and stores management.
• Assist and coordinate training and social interventions.
• Assist with mapping and data recording for the project linked to activities.
• Report on project progress.
