Requirements :
- Grade 12 plus Bachelor’s degree (NQF 7) in Communications/ Public Relations/ Media Liaison/ Journalism or relevant qualification as recognised by SAQA.
- 3-5 years’ experience in communication environment. A valid driver’s license.
Duties :
- To provide corporate communication and media liaison services. Manage departmental events. Manage departmental Exhibitions. Co-ordinate the development of Department of Environment brand
- . Effectively manage the integrated communication strategy of the events and create conducive platforms for the implementation of the department’s mandate. Ensure that government protocol is adhered to at events and exhibitions.
- To improve and uphold the image of the department through events management. Ensure that back to office reports are completed timeously. Compile weekly and monthly reports timeously. Supervise staff.
