Responsibilities

What we’re looking for:

  • Manager area sales objectives, drafts and executes area sales plans, manage 3rd party distributors(IDP). Lead and manage a team of sales reps and sales supervisors. Manage key customer relationship, Manage NR, Manager promotion and marketing initiatives

Accountabilities:

  • Manage Sales and Operations KZN Both IDP and own Routes
  • Customer Relationships
  • Analyse regional sales forecasts & competitor activities
  • Formulate and managed regional plans ie. volume, price & promotions
  • Negotiate and managed trading terms, price, shelf space & promotions
  • Manage Sales in vs Sales out
  • Manage all Orders
  • Manage Order Department Processes
  • Manage route to Market Data Extraction
  • Manage Agents Numeric Distribution
  • Manage Agents Promotion Distribution
  • Manage Expiring and Expired Stock and Damages
  • Manage Logistics / Deliveries / Scheduling / Confirmation
  • Manage OOS Internal and External
  • Manage Sub – Agents Promotion / Stock / Pricing / Deliveries
  • Manage promotional assets & equipment
  • Manage internal/ key account/ 3rd party/ agents performance
  • Manage regional promotional grids & logistics
  • Control working capital items e.g. debtors day & product returns
  • Approve functional plan Promotions and Funds
  • Manage performance of own team Brand Ambassadors
  • Manage talent plan of own team Brand Ambassadors
  • Achieve Sales volume Targets
  • Implement functional plan and projects
  • Utilise SAP functionality
  • Utilisation of functional resources
  • Managed functional projects
  • Maintained external stakeholder relations
  • Established functional network
  • Utilise service provider network
  • Maintain interdepartmental relations
  • Manage change processes
  • Initiate continuous improvement
  • Consumer Marketing Data Extracts and Sharing
  • Customer Key Market Information to phase growth

Qualifications

What will qualify you for the role

  • +5 Years Sales and Operations Management in FMCG
  • +5 Years Key Accounting in FMCG
  • Knowledge and Experience of the Industry , this includes customer knowledge based on Top end right through to Bottom end.
  • Consumer Knowledge and behavior patterns
  • Market data and planning experience
  • Strong Mathematical Skills ( ROI Experience)
  • Negotiation Skills
