Requirements and Expectations

Minimum Requirements

• A Senior Certificate (Grade 12) with Mathematics or Accounting as passed subjects.
• Relevant experience in finance, with emphasis on:
• SAP, PERSAL, and Supply Chain Management (creditors) processes.
• Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and National Treasury Regulations.
• One (1) to two (2) years of financial experience will serve as an added advantage.
• The disclosure of a valid, unexpired driver’s license will serve as an added advantage.
• Computer literacy (MS Office).
• Good organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive money and issue receipts for transactions.
• Perform banking duties and maintain petty cash, including replenishment.
• Update and maintain the rental register and allocate deductions on PERSAL.
• Capture financial data and transactions accurately on PERSAL and SAP.
• File and maintain financial documents for audit and administrative purposes.
• Support the finance unit with salary-related inquiries.
• Capture overtime, shift allowances, standby, Sunday, and public holiday payments on PERSAL for all employees.
• Process Eskom accounts on SAP and send payment advice via email.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial policies and regulations.
