Description:

• Hire Resolve’s Client is currently looking for an experienced General Engineering Superintendent to join their mining company based in the Northern Cape.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage both mechanical and electrical functions.
• Initiate and implement continuous improvement projects.
• Lead energy management and conservation initiatives.
• Implement, monitor, and enforce safety standards and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation.
• Manage engineering maintenance planning and scheduling (asset management).
• Oversee spare parts and sub-assembly management.
• Prepare, monitor, and control engineering budgets and costs.
• Foster effective working relationships with other departments.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Valid Trade Test (Electrical or Mechanical)
• 5 years’ experience within the mining industry.
• 2-3 years’ experience on a supervisory level.
• Valid Driver’s License
