SAP Support Manager
Job Description
- To lead the support, optimisation, and continuous improvement of SAP and enterprise applications across our hospital network.
- This is a strategic role that ensures system performance, user satisfaction, and alignment with clinical and business goals.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum Experience
- Minimum 5 years in SAP system administration and support, ideally in a healthcare or regulated environment.
- SAP and ITIL certifications are highly desirable.
Key Competencies
- Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA or ECC
- Integration tools (e.g., PI/PO, BTP)
- Data management
- Access control
- Project/vendor management
DELIVERABLES
- Lead SAP Application Management: Oversee the support, maintenance, and enhancement of SAP systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance.
- Drive Business Alignment: Translate business needs into scalable SAP solutions that support clinical, financial, and administrative functions.
- Ensure Quality and Compliance: Manage testing, upgrades, and audits to maintain system integrity and regulatory compliance (e.g., POPIA).
- Champion User Enablement: Lead training, change management, and user support initiatives to enhance adoption and satisfaction.
- Manage Vendors and Contracts: Oversee SAP service providers, licensing, and SLAs to ensure value and performance.
- Promote Continuous Improvement: Establish a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for SAP and drive innovation through best practices and new technologies.
- Support Governance and Reporting: Implement performance metrics, reporting standards, and risk management frameworks.
