Job Description

• Our client is looking for an Internal Sales Executive to provide potential and existing customers with exceptional services, by identifying customer needs, responding to customer queries, and collaborating with internal departments to optimize customer services and brand awareness.
• We are on the hunt for sales talent from a manufacturing or production background (ie: Chemical, lubricants, engineering), your experience collaborating with all departments (finance, production, logistics etc) will be vital!

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• To effectively engage with external customers to deliver an X-Factor experience through expert advice and solutions thinking.
• Accept and process customer orders efficiently and deliver what is promised every time.
• Provide timely and accurate information to stakeholders.
• Promptly deal with all enquiries or complaints.
• To engage with effectively and coordinate the activities of all internal departments involved in the sales order fulfillment process.
• Check stock availability and liaise with supply chain to ensure fulfillment of the order.
• Identify possible solutions in the event of stock outs or delays.
• NCR reporting, with root cause analysis for continual improvement.
• To effectively utilise existing and potential customer base to offer appropriate additional polymer solutions to the right customers.
• Cross-sell across the business.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Presentation and communication.
• Strong administrative skills and familiarity with CRM systems and practices.
• Highly organised, strong attention to detail, excellent time management.
• Possess a natural curiosity to proactively present solutions.
• Ability to multitask and work in a highly pressurised environment.

• Ability to pick up the phone & sell with confidence.
• Proven customer support experience or experience as a Client Services.
• Track record of over-achieving quota.
• Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
• Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

Education required for the role:

• Matric as minimum requirement.
• Proven experience in similar role and industry.
• Diploma / Degree preferable.
• Computer literate

Benefits:

• Basic salary: R33,000.00 monthly CTC
• No commission structure.
• 100% full time office based 08:00 – 16:30 Monday – Thursday and Friday’s till 16:00.
• One Friday afternoon per month off after successful probation period of 6 months.
