Job Description
- A vacancy exists for a Senior Brand Manager – EasyPay Voucher within the Kazang - Micro Merchant Division, in Century City, Cape Town.

- You’ll lead strategic brand initiatives that put the customer at the centre, ensuring EasyPay Voucher resonates at every touchpoint – in-store, online, in communities, and across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Brand Strategy & Planning:
- Own and evolve the EasyPay Voucher brand strategy – defining how the brand shows up, what it stands for, and how it connects with customers.
- Lead brand planning and go-to-market strategies across key campaigns, channels, and initiatives.
- Identify growth opportunities and unlock brand potential through clear, insight-led positioning.
Campaign Development and Execution
- Translate brand objectives into creative, compelling campaigns across ATL, digital, social, and in-store media.
- Brief and manage creative, media, and production partners – ensuring all outputs are on-brand, on-budget, and on-time.
- Collaborate with internal teams on performance marketing, retail/spaza shop rollouts and partner activations.
Customer & Market Insights
- Continuously track customer behaviour, market trends and competitor activity to inform brand positioning and tactical execution.
- Lead brand health tracking, campaign effectiveness measurement, and consumer research.
Creative & Content Direction
- Oversee the development of campaign content – including key messaging, visuals, tone of voice and storytelling.
- Partner closely with content, digital and design teams to bring the brand tto life in powerful, relevant ways.
Cross-functional leadership
- Collaborate with product, digital, trade, and sales teams to ensure consistent brand delivery.
- Act as brand champion within the business.
In order to be considered for this position, the following requirements must be met:
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric Required, Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Brand Communication, or related field preferred.
- 4+ years in brand management or marketing senior role, ideally in a fast-paced, consumer – focused environment.
- Strong experience with brand strategy, campaign development, media planning, and digital marketing.
- Solid understanding of the South African consumer landscape, particularly township and mass market segments.
- Strong commercial acumen and results-driven mindset.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Confident briefing and collaborating with agencies, creative and internal teams.
- Proficient in performance data and reporting.
Bonus Points if you:
- Have worked on brands that serve mass market or emerging market consumers.
- Bring agency-side or fintech/startup experience.
- Have a passion for financial inclusion, access, and innovation.
