Skills Development Practitioner

Key Responsibility Areas

  • Advise, guide and provide input on production and implementation of the Workplace Skills Plan.
  • Collection of Information regarding development issues.
  • Provide administrative and liaison function.
  • Interacts and represents the Municipality on aspects related to Education, Training and Development.
  • Execute the Skills Audit by evaluating the Municipality’s level of skills.
  • Execute and manage Learning and Development processes based on needs analysis objectives in accordance with the provisions of the Skills Development Act and the Municipality’s IDP.
  • Co-ordinate activities associated with interns, work integrated learning.

Essential Requirements

  • Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Human Resources Development or Management or Public Management or Public Administration or equivalent.
  • Valid motor vehicle driving license.
  • 3 Years administrative experience.
  • Computer Literacy.

Preferred Requirements

  • Degree (NQF Level 7) in Human Resources Development or Management or Public Management or Public Administration or equivalent.
  • 4 Years administrative experience
