Requirements:
- Three-year National Diploma in Pharmacy as recognized by the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) and Proof of registration with SAPC as an independent practitioner.
- Three years’ relevant experience
Duties:
- To control medicines and pharmaceuticals.
- To Order medicines and pharmaceuticals.
- Control of schedule 5 – 7 drugs
- To assist In doing health-related research.
- To Make appropriate referrals to Nurses and doctors.
- To be able to analyze health statistics.
- To supervise staff in the use of the pharmacy at the campus clinic.
- To perform routine screening of patients.
- To participate in CPD programs and peer review.
- To be part of the university Emergency Medical Service (EMS) team.
