Minimum Requirements

• Bachelors or Honour’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Finance, Business Management or Engineering
• Minimum 3 years’ middle management experience
• Minimum 6 years’ relevant working experience
• Eligibility to be registered with the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS

Primary Duties

• Implement effective demand planning to improve Rand Water supply chain strategies;
• Implement sourcing strategies that will enable Rand Water to derive the best value-for-money;
• Develop and leverage buying influence of Rand Water’s multiple business units
• Develop and promote supply chain strategies that will implementation produce competitive advantage for Rand Water and uphold fair practices on suppliers;
• Implement and review supply chain strategies that promote the economic transformation strategy of Rand Water and report on impact and progress;
