Job Description
- My client is looking for a professional, friendly, and highly organised Receptionist (must be fluent in English and Afrikaans) to be the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and callers.
- This role suits someone who is well-presented, detail-oriented, and thrives in a busy office environment while maintaining a calm, welcoming presence
Key responsibilities
- Manage the front desk and serve as the first point of contact for all visitors and callers
- Answer and direct calls professionally and efficiently
- Provide administrative support to the office and wider team
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Maintain a neat, organised reception and front-office area
- Assist with scheduling, filing, and general office administration
- Handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
Experience & requirements
- Grade 12 (Senior Certificate) or relevant diploma
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a receptionist or front-desk administration role
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Confident user of MS Word and Excel
- Well-spoken, professional, and presentable
- Self-motivated with a positive, energetic attitude
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans (spoken and written)
- Able to perform effectively in a fast-paced office environment
