Admin Clerk: Infrastructure
REQUIREMENTS:
- Applicants must be in possession of a Grade 12 Certificate. At least a National Certificate / Diploma in Public Administration/Public Management/Financial Management.
- A certificate in Project Management or Facilities Management will be an added advantage. 2 years of experience in the administration of infrastructure and maintenance projects.
DUTIES:
- Provide infrastructure and maintenance clerical support services within the component.
- Prepare for internal and external meetings. Minute taking, report writing, updating, and modifying of records. Keep and maintain the project filling system.
- Update project registers and statistics. Communicates to relevant role players and follow up on progress made.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in relation to the procurement of Departmental goods and services.
- Ensure the effective flow of information and documents to and from the infrastructure office to Central Office staff and Campuses.
- Handle routine inquiries from contractors. Capture and update project-related expenditures in the component.
