- The opportunity
- As an Occupational Health and Safety Associate, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, compliant, and proactive work environment. You will support the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs, ensuring our operations meet the highest standards.
What You will Do
- Conduct EHS Inspections & Audits: Perform regular inspections and tests to monitor compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards.
- Deliver EHS Inductions & Training: Lead safety inductions for new employees and support ongoing training on EHS policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Maintain Accurate EHS Records: Ensure all safety documentation, incident reports, and compliance records are up to date and stored according to company guidelines.
- Support Policy Development: Contribute to the creation and continuous improvement of EHS policies and procedures to enhance workplace safety and compliance.
Skills you will have:
- EHS Compliance: Applies safety and environmental regulations to ensure operations meet legal and company standards.
- Process Optimization: Identifies and implements improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Attention to Detail: Maintains accurate records and thorough documentation to support a safe workplace.
- Clear Communication: Delivers effective safety training and fosters open dialogue across all levels.
- Influence & Collaboration: Encourages safe behaviours and drives engagement in EHS initiatives.
- Proactive Approach: Anticipates risks and takes initiative to improve safety practices.
- Prioritization: Manages multiple tasks efficiently, balancing inspections, training, and reporting.
- Problem Solving: Analyses issues, identifies root causes, and delivers practical solutions.
What will put you forward:
- Minimum 3-year qualification in Safety Management, or similar
- Proven experience as an EHS Officer in a warehouse, mining, or manufacturing environment
- Strong background in compliance, PPE management, safety inductions, and facility safety
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role

- Onsite, five days a week.
