Description

• The Pricing Analyst supports the development, analysis, and maintenance of group risk pricing strategies and models to optimize product competitiveness and profitability. This role provides a foundation for understanding business dynamics through data-driven insights and contributes to informed decision-making in pricing and product design.

Requirements
Key Tasks & Responsibilities

• Process book rated and claims rated quotations for Group Risk Benefits
• Assist in building and maintaining pricing models using actuarial/statistical tools
• Analyse historical trends in claims, sales, and customer behaviour to identify pricing opportunities
• Support the pricing team in developing recommendations for new products or re-pricing existing offerings
• Collaborate with various external and internal stakeholders to support service delivery.
• Generate regular pricing and profitability reports for internal stakeholders
• Conduct competitor and market pricing analyses
• Ensure pricing practices adhere to regulatory and governance requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field
• 2–5 years of relevant work experience
• Progress toward actuarial exams (if applicable)
• Familiarity with Intermediate / Advanced Excel, R, Python, SQL, Power BI or similar tools (Advantageous)
