Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site role for a Yoruba Language Teacher, located in Lagos.
• The Yoruba Language Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Yoruba language lessons, developing teaching resources, and fostering a deep understanding and appreciation of Yoruba language and culture among students.
• Key responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching grammar, literature, and oral proficiency, assessing student performance, and supporting their overall academic development.
• The teacher will also work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a high standard of education reflective of Dansol Christian Mission’s core values.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Yoruba Language Teaching and a passion for language education.
• Experience in Lesson Planning and Teaching with effective classroom management skills.
• Background in Education and Yoruba Literature is essential.
• Ability to engage students and foster an inclusive, respectful learning environment.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to the vision and values of Dansol.
