Wireless Solution Sales Engineer
Job Summary
- We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Wireless Solution Sales Engineer to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria.
- The successful candidate will take ownership of the sales of wireless products and solutions, ensuring the execution of targeted sales strategies and the achievement of business goals.
- This role involves working closely with regional customers, developing solution-based sales proposals, executing bidding strategies, and supporting business growth through market intelligence and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Ownership & Strategy Implementation:
- Drive the implementation of sales strategies for specific wireless scenarios, products, and regional targets.
- Achieve operational targets related to installed base and centralized procurement share/price.
Customer Engagement & Expansion:
- Analyze and gain insights from the local network landscape.
- Identify and drive board-level expansion projects within the region.
- Communicate effectively with mid-level and junior-level regional customers on product-level discussions to guide and shape customer requirements.
Bidding & Project Management:
- Lead and manage single-scenario or single-source bidding projects.
- Develop and execute bidding strategies to ensure successful project acquisition and implementation.
Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis:
- Collect, monitor, and analyze competitive information and regional landscape.
- Maintain updated war maps and sandboxes to track industry trends, competitor activities, and inventory status.
Professional Experience
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 3-15 years work experience.
- Relevant experience in ICT products, with a strong preference for experience in the wireless field.
- Experience in pre-sales solution design and expansion, or background in delivery technology and commercial design is an added advantage.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong understanding of order management and sales project operations.
- Familiarity with account group structures and customer relationship management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to guide customers effectively.
- Strong teamwork spirit and collaboration skills.
Required Abilities:
- Ability to understand complex customer requirements and translate them into tailored wireless solutions.
- Skilled in designing technical and commercial solutions.
- Capable of engaging in customer-facing roles to influence decision-making and solution adoption.
- Strong capability in operating and managing sales and bidding projects.
Technical Knowledge & Background:
- In-depth knowledge of wireless technologies, network architecture, and related products.
- Understanding of solution design principles, customer interaction, and project delivery.
- Exposure to business management, business model design, and digital marketing is desirable.
