Warehouse Executive
Job Description
- Keeping records of items shipped, received from the project site, or transferred to other warehouse locations.
- To find, sort, or move goods within different parts of the warehouse.
- To compile reports on various aspects of changes in production or inventory.
- To ensure the store is well organized, to maintain the neatness and tidiness of the warehouse.
- To check the materials thoroughly for quality, quantity & any specific condition.
- To develop and implement a (proactive) tools maintenance program.
- To ensure that maintenance reports are drafted properly.
- To ensure goods which go out and come in from time to time are tracked properly.
- To ensure proper authorization for all goods entering and leaving the warehouse
- To input supplies into the warehouse inventory system and to check for accuracy.
- To ensure that all tool maintenance operations are done in accordance with company policy and OSHA guidelines.
- Coordinate with the OHS coordinator and investigate all reported incidents (near-misses and accidents)
Requirements
- B.Sc. / HND in any discipline
- 0 – 1 year post NYSC experience
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety will be an added advantage.
