Virtual Recruitment and Training Development Officer

Role Summary

  • We are seeking a smart, disciplined, and results-driven HR professional to support recruitment, training development, and employer branding for a fast-growing manufacturing organization.
  • This role requires someone who is highly organized, tech-savvy, and intellectually curious, with the ability to quickly understand aluminium extrusion and manufacturing processes and convert them into clear digital training materials.
  • The role is virtual but demands strong structure, accountability, and daily engagement.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:

  • Manage and support end-to-end recruitment for technical, factory, administrative, and supervisory roles.
  • Draft clear, professional job descriptions aligned with operational needs.
  • Post vacancies on effective job boards and continuously evaluate sourcing channels for quality and speed.
  • Actively source and scout poachable candidates on professional networks such as LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline, including passive candidates.
  • Screen CVs using structured criteria, focusing on competence, attitude, and role fit.
  • Conduct first-stage interviews and prepare structured shortlisting reports for management.
  • Ensure a professional and positive candidate experience from first contact to offer stage.

Training Development & Digital Academy:

  • Support the development of Rotic’s Digital Training Academy.
  • Quickly learn and understand:
  • Aluminium extrusion process flow
  • Melting, extrusion, finishing, powder coating, warehousing, and logistics
  • Convert operational processes into:
  • Training modules
  • SOP-based learning documents
  • Presentation slides and assessments
  • Organize training content for online delivery.
  • Support onboarding and refresher training programs.

Employer Branding & Online Presence:

  • Build and maintain a strong, attractive online employer profile for Rotic.
  • Coordinate recruitment messaging across digital platforms.
  • Ensure consistency in tone, professionalism, and brand positioning.

Support content creation for:

  • Recruitment campaigns
  • Workplace culture and values
  • Training and career development opportunities

HR Systems & Documentation:

  • Use HR and productivity tools effectively (e.g., Odoo HR, Google Workspace).
  • Maintain organized digital recruitment and training records.
  • Track recruitment progress, training completion, and assessments.
  • Support standardisation of HR documentation and processes.

Working Hours & Work Conditions:

  • Working days: Monday to Friday
  • Working hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Daily 8:00 AM check-in is mandatory
  • This is a fully virtual role, but availability during working hours is strictly required.

Tools, Equipment & Allowances:

  • Must own a personal laptop suitable for professional work.
  • Must have reliable, fast internet access.
  • Laptop must have stable power supply throughout the workday (personal power backup required).
  • Airtime allowance will be provided for work-related calls.

Contract Duration & Performance Expectations:

  • Initial contract: 3 months
  • The role has clearly defined targets and deliverables to be achieved within the contract period.
