• SPIE Global Services Energy, a leader in Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy maintenance, is recruiting a Financial Controller M/F for its operations in the Lagos, Nigeria office.

Main Missions

• As the local CFO’s right-hand man and an essential link with the operational staff, he or she will assist him in the following missions:
• Participate in the monthly and annual closing of accounts and liaise with the management accounting;
• Elaboration of the reporting to the parent company: order book; income statement; three-month rolling forecast; customer credit; provisions…
• Report its analyses to the local management and to the Headquarters: explanations of the figures and discrepancies observed at the end of each month;
• Assist the CFO during monthly meetings with headquarters;
• In the budget phase: Participation in the development and analysis of budgets and annual re-forecasts;
• Business review and ad hoc participation in calls for tenders;
• Participate in the development of procedures and the continuous improvement of ERP in conjunction with the local Finance Department and the head office

Your profile

• Graduated from a Business School-type training, specializing in Management Control and Accounting.
• Good level in accounting, will be tested. A double degree ESC-DCG would be very much appreciated.
• First experience necessary.
• Good knowledge of management monitoring, business monitoring and cost analysis (you will have to quickly get involved in everything related to cost accounting, reporting to the parent company and monitoring of financial indicators.)
• Spoken and written languages: French and English required ;
• Strong computer sensitivity required: Office Pack and in particular Excel (formulas; DBT; Macros); ERP (Sage or other); BI (Essbase; EPM or other);
• Communication and strong interpersonal skills to interact with local teams and headquarters;
