The Tractor Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining farm tractors and related machinery used in ploughing, harrowing, planting, and harvesting activities. The ideal candidate must be safety-conscious, hardworking, and capable of performing basic maintenance on equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate tractors and farm implements safely and efficiently.
• Conduct land preparation, planting, harrowing, and harvesting.
• Transport crops, fertilizers, and other materials within and outside the farm.
• Inspect, clean, and maintain tractors before and after use.
• Report faults or maintenance needs promptly to the supervisor.
• Perform minor repairs and ensure daily fueling and servicing.
• Follow all safety rules and farm operational standards.
• Assist in general farm activities as required.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification.
• 3-5 years proven experience operating tractors or similar equipment.
• Basic knowledge of tractor maintenance and minor repairs.
• Physically fit and able to work under different weather conditions.
• Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious.
• Possession of a valid tractor operator’s license is an added advantage.
