Job Summary:

The Mechanical Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment including pumps, valves, compressors, engines, and gearboxes. The role requires hands-on technical expertise to ensure equipment reliability and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Perform alignment of rotating equipment.
  • Conduct lubrication and preventive maintenance procedures.
  • Replace and install bearings.
  • Monitor and analyze vibration levels for mechanical assets.
  • Perform basic welding and pipe fitting tasks.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical faults and propose solutions.
  • Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
  • Adhere to safety and quality standards.
  • Required Experience & Skills:
  • Hands-on experience in alignment, lubrication, and bearing replacement.
  • Proficiency in vibration monitoring and interpretation.
  • Experience with basic welding and pipe fitting.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and manuals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Other Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Ability to read technical diagrams, manuals, and instructions.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Must be physically fit and willing to travel to project locations within Nigeria.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and overtime, as projects demand.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with industrial machinery, pumps, valves, control panels, or lubrication systems.
  • Experience working in oil & gas, manufacturing, or construction environments.

Job Summary:

The Fabrication/Welding Technician is responsible for performing structural and pipeline welding, including fabrication of steel components. The role requires proficiency in welding processes and tools to support various engineering and construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out welding and fabrication tasks as per project specifications.
  • Interpret blueprints and welding symbols for accurate execution.
  • Operate welding machines including SMAW, GTAW, and MIG/MAG.
  • Perform cutting, grinding, and fitting of metal components.
  • Inspect welds for quality and adherence to standards.
  • Maintain safety and cleanliness of work areas.
  • Record and report work completed and materials used.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Practical experience in SMAW, GTAW, and MIG/MAG welding processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret fabrication blueprints.
  • Skilled in metal cutting, grinding, and fitting.
  • Familiar with welding safety procedures and quality standards.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship
