Job Summary

• TAAS College is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Technical Drawing / Physics Teacher to join our academic team.
• The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong subject mastery, effective teaching skills, and a commitment to student academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Technical Drawing and Physics in accordance with the approved curriculum
• Prepare detailed lesson plans, schemes of work, and instructional materials
• Deliver engaging and practical lessons that enhance student understanding
• Conduct continuous assessment, tests, and examinations
• Mark scripts, maintain accurate records, and provide timely feedback
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations
• Manage classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment
• Participate in departmental meetings, school activities, and professional development
• Perform other academic duties as assigned by school management

Professional Requirements

• Minimum of B.Sc./ B.Ed./ HND in Physics, Technical Drawing, Engineering, or a related discipline
• TRCN certification is an added advantage
• Strong knowledge of modern teaching methods and instructional technologies
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and dedication

Experience:

• Minimum of 5–8 years teaching experience in a reputable secondary school
• Proven track record of preparing students for external examinations
