Job Summary
- We are seeking a proactive and disciplined Supermarket Manager to oversee the daily operations of our store in Ilupeju.
- The ideal candidate will have prior experience in retail supervision, be punctual, well-dressed, and capable of enforcing store policies, leading appraisals, and ensuring efficient store performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day operations of the supermarket to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
- Enforce store policies including staff punctuality, hygiene, and dress code compliance.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for timely stock replenishment.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and complaint resolution.
- Assign tasks, manage shift schedules, and monitor staff performance.
- Conduct regular staff appraisals, provide feedback, and recommend training where necessary.
- Maintain proper documentation of staff attendance, inventory records, and daily sales reports.
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and complies with safety standards.
- Collaborate with management to implement sales and promotional strategies.
Requirements
- Minimum of OND / HND / BSc in Business Administration, Retail Management or related field.
- 2–4 years proven experience managing or supervising a supermarket or retail store.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead by example and instill discipline among staff.
- Proficient in inventory management, POS systems, and reporting.
- Must be well-groomed, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct.
Salary Range
N150,000 Monthly.
