Job Summary:

• The Sub-Contract Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, awarding, and administering sub-contract agreements for construction projects. The role ensures that sub-contractors are selected competitively, contracts are commercially sound, and project delivery requirements for cost, quality, safety, and timelines are met in line with Julius Berger’s standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source, pre-qualify, and manage sub-contractors for construction works.
• Prepare and issue RFQs/ITTs and coordinate tender processes.
• Evaluate technical and commercial bids with project and QS teams.
• Support contract negotiations, award recommendations, and documentation.
• Administer sub-contract agreements and monitor compliance.
• Collaborate with Project, Engineering, QS, HSE, and Finance teams.
• Maintain procurement records and prepare status reports.

Education, Knowledge & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields.
• 3–5 years’ experience in sub-contract procurement. Experience within the construction industry is an added advantage.
• Good understanding of BOQs, drawings, and construction contract terms.
• Strong negotiation, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; ERP/procurement systems is an advantage.
