Store / Inventory Officer

REQUIREMENTS

  • HND/BSc in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years experience in storekeeping, inventory control, warehouse operations, or a similar role—preferably within the hospitality sector.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage stock levels across multiple service points or facilities.
  • Good knowledge of inventory management systems, stock reconciliation, and basic reporting.
  • Must be detail-oriented, accountable, and able to work with minimal supervision.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive, inspect, and record all incoming materials, supplies, groceries, linens, and hospitality-related items.
  • Maintain accurate stock records, issue items to relevant departments, and update inventory logs promptly.
  • Conduct routine stock counts, reconciliations, and prepare variance reports.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and arrangement of items for safety, accessibility, and quality preservation.
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs to management.
  • Implement effective inventory control procedures to prevent wastage, spoilage, and pilferage.
  • Prepare periodic inventory reports showing stock levels, movements, and usage trends.
  • Coordinate with vendors, procurement teams, and operations to ensure timely delivery of stock.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready store environment.
  • Support operational teams in meeting daily supply needs efficiently.
