Job Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and responsible Store Assistant / Trainee Store Manager to join our tea and coffee shop in Ikeja.
This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about customer service and the café business, and who wants to grow into a future Store Manager role. Candidates living nearby and with previous restaurant or café experience will be given priority.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Store Manager in daily shop operations.
• Serve customers politely and efficiently, ensuring a positive experience.
• Prepare and serve tea, coffee, and other beverages according to company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the shop at all times.
• Support inventory management, restocking, and supplier coordination.
• Operate POS systems, handle cash, and issue receipts accurately.
• Learn and apply store management skills under supervision.
• Help manage and train new staff when required.
• Support promotional and marketing activities.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum of SSCE / OND; a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree is an advantage.
• At least 1 year of experience in café, restaurant, or retail service preferred.
• Strong sense of responsibility, honesty, and teamwork.
• Friendly personality and good communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow into a managerial position.
• Must live in or near Ikeja.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Basic computer or POS operation skills are a plus.
