State Merchant Officer
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, onboard, and manage state aggregators and agent networks.
- Drive POS deployment, management, and maintenance within assigned state.
- Ensure revenue targets are achieved and maintain a95% active agent base.
- Oversee branding and visibility initiativesin line with company standards (PICOS).
- Coordinate POS distribution, retrieval, and repairs in collaboration with the EUS team.
- Ensure aggregators fund their agents promptly and maintain zero float balance.
- Identify and implement opportunities for market penetration and growth.
- Monitor and report competitor activities and propose counter strategies.
- Ensure effective management of POSM materials to avoid damage or wastage.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
- 2+ years of commercial or business management experience, preferably in fintech, financial services, or banking.
- 1–2 years of experience in POS managementor agency banking operations is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to recruit, train, and manage aggregators and agents effectively.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in basic computer applications.
- Must be performance-driven, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
