Role Summary

  • The Solar Engineers will oversee the operation, maintenance, and performance optimization of
  • installed solar energy systems across existing facilities. This includes ensuring system reliability,
  • managing technical teams, conducting diagnostics, and implementing upgrades to maximize
  • energy output and system longevity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze performance of solar PV systems across all sites
  • Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and fault diagnostics
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for repairs and upgrades
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and energy regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of energy production, downtime, and maintenance activities
  • Provide technical reports and recommendations to management
  • Support expansion projects and integration of new solar technologies

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • B.Sc Degree or HND qualification in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
  • Must be COREN registered.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in solar PV system design, installation, or maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of inverters, batteries, charge controllers, and monitoring systems.
  • Familiarity with Nigerian energy regulations and grid interaction.
  • Service oriented with excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Assertive and level-headed personality with an eye for details
