Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Social Media Marketing Specialist, located in Lagos with some work-from-home flexibility. The Social Media Marketing Specialist will manage social media accounts, create engaging social media content, develop and implement digital marketing campaigns, and communicate effectively with the online community. The specialist will:

• Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with business goals.
• Manage daily content creation, scheduling, and posting across multiple platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, etc.).
• Plan and run paid ad campaigns (Meta, Google, LinkedIn, or TikTok as needed).
• Conduct audience and competitor research to inform strategy.
• Track, measure, and report performance using analytics tools.
• Manage brand voice and ensure consistency across all platforms.
• Collaborate with design, video, and copy teams to produce engaging content.
• Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices.
• Create campaigns that drive engagement, leads, and conversions.
• Build and nurture online communities through active engagement and relationship management.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a hybrid environment
• Proven experience as a social media strategist/manager (portfolio or case studies required).
• Strong understanding of content strategy, brand positioning, and paid ads.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Data-driven with ability to interpret insights and optimize campaigns.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in tools like Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Canva, scheduling tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, etc.).
