Job Summary

  • The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the company’s social media strategy to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts, and drive engagement across all social platforms.
  • This role involves overseeing content creation, managing social campaigns, analyzing performance metrics, and staying up to date with the latest digital and social trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a results-driven social media strategy aligned with overall marketing goals.
  • Manage daily social media operations across platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest).
  • Create, curate, and manage engaging content (posts, videos, stories, reels, etc.).
  • Plan and run paid social media advertising campaigns to boost reach and conversions.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on performance metrics (engagement, reach, leads, conversions, etc.).
  • Collaborate with content creators, designers, photographers, and other marketing team members.
  • Engage with the online community — respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.
  • Track social media trends, tools, and emerging platforms to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Manage social media calendars and scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, Sprout Social).
  • Work with influencers or brand ambassadors to enhance visibility and credibility.
  • Ensure all social content aligns with brand voice, tone, and values.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience managing social media for brands or organizations.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics tools, and paid advertising.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Sprout Social, Hootsuite).
  • Creative thinker with attention to detail and a passion for digital trends.
  • Ability to multitask and manage several projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
