Social Media Content Manager

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Editing:

  • Edit 5 – 15 short-form videos weekly (Reels, TikTok, Shorts).
  • Cut, trim, and assemble raw footage.
  • Add captions, transitions, animations, music, overlays.
  • Design carousels, thumbnails, and story banners.
  • Maintain consistent brand aesthetic across all videos
  • Create content variations for multiple platforms

Content Pipeline Mnagement:

  • Maintain a structured 12-week posting calendar.
  • Batch content weekly.
  • Ensure timely delivery of drafts and final edits.
  • Coordinate with Operations Coordinator to collect footage.
  • Ensure all assets follow naming + folder standards.

Social Media Management:

  • Schedule daily posts using Meta Suite.
  • Manage comments, DMs, replies (with guidelines).
  • Track platform performance and audience sentiment.
  • Identify emerging trends for adaptation.

Brand Consistency & Language:

  • Apply brand fonts, colors, tone, transitions, and templates.
  • Follow brand bible and creative guidelines.
  • Maintain a unified, professional look.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Provide weekly performance analysis.
  • Track growth KPIs (reach, engagement, retention).
  • Recommend improvements.
  • Highlight top-performing content and trends.

Team Collaboration:

  • Receive direction from team lead.
  • Work with Operations Coordinator for footage, timelines, and approvals.
  • Adapt feedback quickly and cleanly.

Required Skills & Experience
Content Creation & Editing Skills:

  • Candidates should possess relevant qualifications.
  • 2 – 5 years experience in social media content creation or digital storytelling.
  • Proven ability to produce high-volume short-form content (8–15 videos weekly).
  • Strong proficiency in CapCut (required).
  • Working proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Ability to edit fast without compromising quality.
  • Strong understanding of pacing, retention, and storytelling structure.

Design & Branding Skills:

  • Intermediate proficiency in Canva or Figma.
  • Ability to create carousels, thumbnails, and stories with clean, professional layouts.
  • Understanding of brand consistency (colors, fonts, templates, overlays).

Platform & Algorithm Knowledge:

  • Deep understanding of Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts algorithms.
  • Ability to identify and adapt trends quickly.
  • Strong understanding of content timing, hashtags, SEO captions, and viral mechanics.

Organizational & Pipeline Management Skills:

  • Excellent file management + version control discipline.
  • Ability to maintain a structured 12-week content calendar.
  • Experience working with raw footage, editors, and operations teams.
  • Ability to follow strict SOPs.
  • Ability to manage deadlines across multiple tasks and platforms.
  • Must be extremely organized with digital assets.

Analytics & Reporting Skills:

  • Basic to intermediate understanding of analytics dashboards.
  • Ability to interpret retention graphs, engagement rate, saves, shares, CTR.
  • Ability to turn insights into action.
  • Experience producing weekly analytics reports.

Copywriting & Communication Skills:

  • Strong caption writing ability.
  • Ability to create compelling hooks and calls-to-action.
  • Understanding of narrative copy for transformation stories.
  • Good command of English for clean, error-free captions.
  • Strong communication skills for aligning with team lead + operations coordinator.

Work Ethic & Execution Style:

  • Fast execution with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure without losing quality.
  • Consistent, reliable, accountability-driven.
  • Comfortable in a highly structured, system-driven environment.
  • Ability to receive feedback and make edits quickly.
  • Willingness to grow with the role as the brand scales.

  • Experience in beauty, lifestyle, transformation, or makeover content.
  • Experience managing creators or influencer pages.
  • Photography or basic lighting knowledge.
