Senior Marketing & Business Development Lead

Position Overview

  • The Senior Marketing Lead will drive marketing, sales, and business development efforts to accelerate Herbal Goodness’ growth across DTC (Shopify), paid media, and B2B channels. This senior-level leader will oversee both internal teams and external partners, delivering measurable results across digital marketing, brand building, and revenue growth initiatives.
  • This role is ideal for a seasoned marketing professional with international experience, a strong commercial mindset, and a proven track record in scaling e-commerce and B2B businesses.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company growth targets.
  • Oversee KPIs across owned and paid media channels, ensuring measurable improvements in reach, engagement, and conversion.
  • Manage and mentor internal marketing and sales teams, and direct external paid media/ads partners.
  • Oversee Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), user experience, and customer journey mapping to improve online sales performance.
  • Collaborate with product development teams on innovation and go-to-market strategies.

Digital Marketing & E-Commerce

  • Lead digital marketing initiatives including SEO, SEM, social media, influencer marketing, email campaigns, and affiliate programs.
  • Build and scale influencer and follower communities on social media platforms.
  • Deliver ROAS goals for paid media campaigns and drive significant growth in organic traffic through advanced SEO strategies.
  • Partner with external consultants and agencies to accelerate Shopify revenue growth.

Sales & Business Development

  • Drive B2B sales outreach and lead acquisition, onboarding, and management of key B2B accounts.
  • Support corporate wellness, wholesale, and distribution partnerships to expand market presence.
  • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and new market opportunities.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Establish performance dashboards to track ROI, revenue growth, and channel effectiveness.
  • Provide monthly/quarterly business reviews to the COO and CEO.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and sales initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) strongly preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive marketing and sales leadership experience in a multinational or comparable international environment.
  • Proven track record of managing digital marketing teams, paid media campaigns, and e-commerce platforms (Shopify required).
  • Strong experience in technical SEO, email marketing, CRO, and customer journey optimization.
  • Demonstrated success in B2B sales outreach and account management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • International experience with cross-cultural teams is a strong asset.
