Security Officer

About the Role
- We are seeking a dedicated, alert, and professional Security Officer to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security management, vigilance, and asset protection, preferably within a recognized organization or corporate environment.
- The Security Officer will be responsible for safeguarding company assets, employees, and customers, while maintaining the calm, courteous atmosphere expected in a luxury retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and security of all staff, customers, and company assets at assigned outlets or premises.
- Conduct regular patrols around the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unsafe activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points to control access and maintain proper visitor logs.
- Inspect and secure doors, windows, and gates at the beginning and end of business hours.
- Observe and report suspicious activities or persons to management immediately.
- Assist in managing crowd control during busy retail hours or promotional events.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, and security incidents.
- Support in enforcing company policies and safety procedures.
- Maintain detailed and accurate security reports and incident logs.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Level of safety and incident prevention within assigned premises.
- Timeliness and accuracy of security reporting.
- Compliance with company security protocols.
- Professionalism and conduct on duty.
Minimum Educational Qualification

SSCE / OND or equivalent qualification.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Security Officer, preferably in a corporate, retail, or hospitality organization.
- Experience working with a recognized security company or trained under a licensed security personnel framework is an advantage.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.

Other Requirements:
- Must reside within Lagos Island or easily accessible environs.

Salary
N90,000 – N100,000 monthly.
