Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site role for a school hostel parent located in Oshogbo. The School Hostel Parent will be responsible for the welfare and supervision of students in the hostel, ensuring their safety, health, and well-being.
• Daily tasks include overseeing daily routines, organizing activities, providing guidance and support, managing disciplinary issues, and liaising with school staff and parents. The role requires a nurturing attitude and the ability to create a positive living environment for students.

Qualifications

• Experience in child care, supervision, and guidance
• Strong organizational and managerial skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to handle disciplinary issues and conflicts effectively
• Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene practices
• Empathetic and nurturing attitude towards students
• Relevant qualifications and certifications in education or childcare
• Ability to work in a diverse and inclusive environment
