Full job description

  • Record daily and weekly sales (both wholesale and retails) 
  • Collecting, storing and updating of customer database daily (both daily customers and wholesalers) 
  • Record inflows and outflows (revenue and expenses)
  • Recognizing swaps, errors etc. 
  • Assist with the daily running of the organization 
  • Assist customers with their inquiries through various channels, including phone, email, and live chat
  • Utilize social media and other platforms to showcase store products.
  • Create content online to promote business brand and promote sales.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the company’s products.
  • Build and maintain strong online presence for online store to drive in store sales of products.
  • Process customer orders online and in-store.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and providing assistance throughout the sales process.
  • Understand customers’ needs and preferences to recommend suitable product options.
  • Suggest other products that can be substituted to fit the customer’s needs.
  • Offer a solution to customers’ enquiries. If not available, proffer alternatives
  • Provide customer with detailed product info, product features, benefits, and customization options.
  • Build trust relationships with customers through excellent customer service.
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly and efficiently.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for repeat business.
  • Encourage referrals from customers.
  • Meet sales goals and target as determined by the management.

Requirements:

  • SSCE
  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the retail sales or relevant industry.
  • Strong sales acumen with excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a persuasive communication style.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing sales opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer literate – Internet, Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, MS Word, Outlook etc.) Proficient with social media — knows how to use WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok etc.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends and evenings, to accommodate customer schedules
