Sales Relationship Manager
Baltai Energy, a fast-growing solar energy company based in Lagos, is seeking experienced Sales Personnel to drive revenue growth through the sales of innovative solar energy solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in direct sales, particularly with homeowners, high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), SMEs, and corporate organizations. Experience in selling technical or engineering-related products and services is highly desirable.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Serve as a lead sales advocate for the Baltai Energy SSN Campaign, targeting over 500,000 homes and businesses across Nigeria.
- Identify, engage, and convert prospects—both individuals and businesses—into buyers of our solar energy solutions.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients that lead to increased sales conversions and referrals.
- Develop and manage a reliable lead database and conversion pipeline.
- Assist potential clients with registration and access to solar financing under the SSN Campaign initiative.
- Close sales through strategic client engagement and needs-based selling.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for post-installation inquiries, escalations, and customer service support.
- Provide continuous feedback from the field to inform product development, marketing initiatives, and client servicing improvements.
- Collaborate with technical teams and management to ensure client energy needs are fully realised.
- Promote the solar products via social media, community forums, and relevant awareness platforms.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and internal training to enhance product knowledge and industry awareness.
- Submit detailed activity reports to management when required.
Requirements/Skills:
- Direct Sales experience is a must.
- Confidence and composure is essential.
- Familiarity with use of Google Sheets/Forms is expected.
- Ability to initiate and manage Professional relationships is key.
- Presentable appearance is necessary.
- Must be prepared to earn through a performance based payment structure.
Qualification Requirements:
- Minimum OND Level Education
- Minimum 3 years in Direct Sales
- Must have a Serviceable Smartphone
