Sales & Partnerships Executive

Role Overview

We’re looking for a driven, street-smart Sales & Partnerships Executive who will be responsible for:

  • Driving daily food orders
  • Building and managing strong vendor relationships
  • Executing local marketing and sales campaigns
  • Growing WakaFoody’s visibility on campuses and in the community

You’ll work directly with the founder and operations team to increase revenue, expand our market reach, and build meaningful partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive daily and weekly food order growth through field and digital sales strategies
  • Acquire and onboard restaurants, vendors, and food spots onto WakaFoody
  • Follow up with customers to increase repeat purchases and loyalty
  • Collaborate with vendors to create and push special deals/promotions
  • Identify sales opportunities in schools, hostels, offices, and events
  • Track performance metrics, customer behavior, and campaign results
  • Represent WakaFoody at vendor locations, markets, and community events

You’ll Succeed If You…

  • Have experience in sales, marketing, or business development (formal or informal)
  • Are confident, convincing, and great at closing deals
  • Understand how to sell to students, working-class customers, and local vendors
  • Can take initiative, work independently, and execute fast
  • Are familiar with Akure/FUTA food vendors, communities, and market behavior
  • Are tech-savvy — can use WhatsApp, Excel, Canva, and social media well

Bonus Points For:

  • Prior experience in food, logistics, FMCG, or local commerce
  • Being well-connected with local vendors or student influencers
  • Speaking fluent Yoruba or Pidgin (plus English)
