Our client (Group of Companies) is a trading and manufacturing group with diverse investments in consumer goods, electronics, automobile accessories, paper, and many more high-impact products. Due to expansion, they are currently in need of a SALES OFFICER
Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Officer to join our paper sales team, focusing on A4 printing paper distribution within Lagos. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Lagos market, excellent customer relationship skills, and the ability to identify market trends and competitor activities. The Sales Officer will be responsible for driving sales performance, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring daily sales collection is accurately managed and reported.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with customers across Lagos.
  • Promote and sell A4 printing paper to retailers, distributors, and corporate clients.
  • Monitor competitors’ activities, pricing, and market strategies to provide regular  market updates.
  • Analyze sales patterns and customer purchasing trends to improve sales strategies.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Handle customer inquiries, orders, and deliveries promptly and professionally.
  • Provide feedback from customers to management for continuous improvement.
  • Manage daily sales transactions and collections within the Lagos area.
  • Ensure accurate recording and remittance of sales proceeds.
  • Prepare daily and weekly sales reports for management review.
  • Collaborate with the logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely product delivery.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • OND / HND / B.Sc. in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in sales, preferably within the paper or FMCG industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the Lagos market and customer base.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
  • Must be trustworthy and capable of handling cash collections responsibly.
