Sales Manager – West Africa

Main Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets and increase market share in the West-African region.
  • Identify, acquire, and develop new customers in the solar PV and storage while strengthening relationships with existing accounts.
  • Manage existing accounts and build and maintain long-term customer relationships through regular on-site visits.
  • Develop a pipeline of potential and acquire new accounts by locating key decision makers and building stable sales relationships to generate sales across West-African markets
  • Lead contract negotiations and prepare competitive quotes.
  • Monitor market trends, analyze data, and provide reliable sales forecasts.
  • Act as a key interface with order processing to ensure smooth supply, delivery, and payment transactions.
  • Represent the company on trade shows and events to create awareness and demand for the company’s products.
  • Compliance with internal processes, policies, and external regulations

LANGUAGES

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Your backpack is filled with

  • Minimum undergraduate degree in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • 3+ years of solar industry experience in a sales role of PV modules, inverters, battery storage or electrical equipment.
  • Demonstrated sales experience within the West Africa region or equivalent international expertise
  • The ideal candidate will bring his or her own industry network
