Sales Manager – Solar Solutions
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive with a strong background in solar energy solutions to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in channel development or B2B sales, with a strong understanding of the Nigerian energy market. The role involves identifying sales opportunities, managing dealer/distributor relationships, and driving revenue growth in the SME and commercial segments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with channel partners, dealers, and corporate clients.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities in the SME, commercial, and institutional sectors.
- Achieve sales targets and expand the customer base in assigned regions.
- Provide technical and product guidance to partners and clients where needed.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to suggest improvements.
- Coordinate with logistics and technical teams to ensure timely delivery and installation.
- Participate in marketing campaigns, exhibitions, and product demos.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and customer feedback.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
- 3–4 years of experience in channel or B2B sales within the solar or power backup industry.
- Strong understanding of solar inverters, batteries, and off-grid/on-grid solutions.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to travel frequently across assigned territories.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Preferred:
- Experience working with distributors, installers, or EPCs in the Nigerian solar sector.
- Knowledge of local regulatory and incentive frameworks in renewable energy.
