Location: Rano, Kano

Role Overview

  • The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to expand market share, drive revenue growth, and strengthen Sagad Farms’ brand presence in the agricultural sector.
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and institutional buyers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and institutional buyers.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategy.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team to deliver on set objectives.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews to management.
  • Collaborate with marketing to design campaigns and promotional activities that boost brand visibility and sales.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining high standards of service delivery.
  • Represent Sagad Farms at trade fairs, exhibitions, and networking events.
  • Uphold company values of integrity, sustainability, and community empowerment.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field (MBA is an added advantage).
  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience in sales management, preferably in FMCG, agriculture, or food industries.
  • Strong understanding of the Nigerian rice market and agricultural value chain.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
  • High level of integrity, resilience, and results orientation.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
