Sales Executive

Job Summary

  • To work in line with management’s sales forecast, set parameters to achieve and surpass the outlined budget, monitor business trends, identify new business prospects, review sales performance, make recommendations and take proactive measures to actualize sales budget while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • To handle customer complaints and resolve issues within reasonable time limits
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication
  • Ensure the availability of stock for sales and display
  • Conduct market research to identify sales leads and customer style trends
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media engagement
  • Setting up meetings with potential clients and sealing new deals
  • Negotiating on behalf of the company and handling complaints or objections from clients as they arise.
  • Conduct market research to identify sales trends, evaluate customer needs and communicate the same along the production chain of the company
  • To actively seek new business solutions to drive sales and market shares
  • Participate on behalf of the company at exhibitions and/ conferences
  • Ensure periodic monitoring of products for sales and display
  • Assist with special projects as assigned by management
  • Create frequent reviews and weekly/monthly reports with sales and financial data
  • Collaborating with team members to achieve better results
  • Setting up strategies to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
  • Provide feedback to the line manager on how to improve service level and operational standards
  • Carry out other duties that may be required

Experience

  • B.Sc. in Sales & Marketing, Business, or related disciplines
  • A higher degree/certification is an added advantage
  • 3 – 5 years relevant experience
  • Must have flair for sales
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Knowledge of basic technology
  • Good interpersonal, time management and numerical skills
  • Strong phone etiquette
  • Client management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
