Your Role
- As a Service Sales Engineer, your mission is to drive sales growth for our service business by leveraging your technical expertise and understanding of customer needs.
- Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will work closely with the engineering and service product teams to implement effective service sales strategies.
Responsibilities
You will:
- Plan and prioritize service sales activities and customer interactions to achieve business targets.
- Collaborate with the service aftermarket team to provide exceptional after-sales service, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Analyze market trends and provide management with accurate information on pricing, competitive activities, and regional issues.
- Prepare and propose service product offerings, calculating sales prices using the company’s discount strategy and quoting tools.
- Monitor and report on service sales activities, keeping the CRM updated with customer visit reports, opportunities, and quotation statuses.
- Work with cross-functional teams to coordinate activities that maximize customer relationships and business outcomes.
Requirements
To succeed, you will need:
- A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- A minimum of 3 years’ proven sales experience, ideally within engineering, technical products & service, capital goods, or construction equipment sectors.
- Proficiency in CRM software.
- Knowledge or application experience in compressed air solutions.
- Willingness to enhance knowledge and expertise continually.
- Ability to work effectively with others and display team-oriented behavior.
- A willingness to travel extensively as part of the role.
- A clean driving license, ensuring mobility during travels.
- Commitment to uphold organizational, ethical, and social values across all business dealings.
- Ability to persuade, convince, and impress key stakeholders to facilitate desired outcomes.
- Flexibility in negotiations while remaining focused on achieving results.
