About the Role

  • A leading company in the mechanical engineering solutions industry is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive business growth and manage client relationships. The ideal candidate will combine a technical background in mechanical/industrial engineering with a strong track record in sales or business development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and convert new business opportunities to achieve sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure continuous business.
  • Conduct presentations and negotiations, providing tailored solutions to clients.
  • Work closely with internal technical teams to deliver customized engineering solutions.
  • Track market trends and competitors to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Prepare weekly reports on sales pipeline, client meetings, and revenue performance.
  • Represent the company at exhibitions, trade fairs, and client demos.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 3–5 years proven experience in sales/business development within mechanical, industrial, or engineering solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to translate technical knowledge into clear business value for clients.
  • Self-driven, result-oriented, and focused on revenue growth.
