About the Role
- A leading company in the mechanical engineering solutions industry is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive business growth and manage client relationships. The ideal candidate will combine a technical background in mechanical/industrial engineering with a strong track record in sales or business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and convert new business opportunities to achieve sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure continuous business.
- Conduct presentations and negotiations, providing tailored solutions to clients.
- Work closely with internal technical teams to deliver customized engineering solutions.
- Track market trends and competitors to identify new sales opportunities.
- Prepare weekly reports on sales pipeline, client meetings, and revenue performance.
- Represent the company at exhibitions, trade fairs, and client demos.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 3–5 years proven experience in sales/business development within mechanical, industrial, or engineering solutions.
- Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to translate technical knowledge into clear business value for clients.
- Self-driven, result-oriented, and focused on revenue growth.
