Sales Business Development Manager
Your Role
- As the Sales/BD Manager, you will be responsible for building and managing our restaurant partner base. You’ll work closely with the marketing and operations teams to ensure leads are converted into active restaurant partners — and that those partners are set up for success.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and proactively engage top restaurants and food vendors in Akure and surrounding areas.
- Drive conversion of marketing-generated leads into successful onboarding.
- Maintain a strong and active pipeline of prospects, with detailed tracking and follow-ups.
- Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to ensure each onboarded vendor has a smooth, fast, and effective onboarding process.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly onboarding and revenue targets.
- Report progress and performance regularly to leadership.
Minimum Requirements
Who You Are
- Proven track record in sales or business development, preferably in the food, hospitality, or tech platform space.
- Strong relationship management and client acquisition skills.
- Demonstrated ability to close deals, not just generate leads.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accountable for performance.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-driven with a strong sense of ownership and urgency.
- Motivated by results, not routine.
- Resilient and adaptable — you see challenges as opportunities.
- A natural connector who knows how to build long-term relationships.
- Ready to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with clear KPIs and accountability.
