Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Sales Representative to join our luxury clothing store team. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth daily operations, deliver exceptional customer service, and actively contribute to sales growth through upselling and cross-selling. Key Responsibilities

Store Operations

  • Ensure the generator has sufficient diesel and refill when necessary.
  • Oversee the store’s cleanliness and arrangement; coordinate with the Cleaner (Mondays & Thursdays).
  • Secure the generator and backup generator daily.
  • Switch off all appliances except the CCTV at closing.
  • Lock up the store securely each day.
  • Pick up new cargo arrivals and ensure proper handling.

Inventory & Logistics

  • Accurately input stock into the inventory system.
  • Prepare items for DHL/GIG deliveries based on schedule.
  • Log delivery details and update customer information.
  • Participate in stock updates and maintain organized records.

Sales & Customer Service

  • Greet customers warmly, understand their needs, and guide them based on their budget.
  • Scan barcodes, process payments (cash, transfer, card), and confirm transfers with the Accountant when required.
  • Collect and record customer details (name, email, phone).
  • Provide receipts upon request and assist customers with multiple bags.
  • Recommend complementary products to enhance customer experience and drive sales.
  • Take and manage customer requests for specific items, including full or part payments.

Orders & Pre-orders

  • Share pre-orders on WhatsApp groups and update the tracking Excel sheet.
  • Inform the Business Director about pre-orders for processing.
  • Notify customers when items arrive for pickup or delivery and collect outstanding payments.
  • Apply fixed pricing for personal shopper services, share item details, and manage the ordering process end-to-end.
  • Respond promptly to unattended customer messages.

Reporting & Communication

  • Submit daily sales reports to the Business Director by 10 PM (per rotation schedule).
  • Send stock updates to the loyalty customer list.
  • Actively participate in morning store prayers, team meetings, and Monday general meetings (10 AM).
  • Collect customer feedback and escalate concerns to the Manager or Business Director.
  • Log and manage left-behind items in collaboration with the Manager.

Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of retail sales processes and customer service.
  • Basic knowledge of logistics and delivery coordination.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.

Education & Experience

  • Minimum of a Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields.
  • 1–2 years of experience in retail or customer service.
  • Experience in luxury or fashion retail is an added advantage.
