Responsibilities

• Support Regional Safety Management to meet Statutory Safety Requirements.
• Drives, and conduct safety awareness programmes, campaigns, and roadshows in promoting safety as a culture in MTN Nigeria.
• Plan and perform Safety reviews of contractor facilities/services and monitor to ensure compliance to MTN safety standard and Global best practice.
• Manage contractors’ site activities, review contractors’ safety documents, analyze the task, conduct induction with the Job Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment and ensure compliance to safety standards and precautionary measures.
• Conduct routine facility inspections, identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions, put suitable controls to mitigate risks and prevent workplace accidents.

QUALIFICATION

• BSc. or HND in relevant field, ISPON Membership, NEBOSH and/or IOSH Certificates,
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in the field of Safety/HSE.
• Ispon certification and membership.
• ISO 45001.
• ISO- 9001
