Job Summary
- We are seeking a results-driven and strategic Retail Sales Manager to lead regional efforts in expanding our distribution network, driving product penetration, and managing channel performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in partner acquisition, sales execution, and distribution management, with a proven ability to grow sales channels and ensure consistent sell-through.
Key Responsibilities
Channel Growth & Partner Onboarding
- Identify and onboard new institutional clients, farms, agro-dealer stores, and other strategic channel partners in the region.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders to facilitate long-term partnerships.
- Develop and execute region-specific strategies to unlock new market opportunities and drive product penetration.
Movement & Distribution Management
- Ensure that sell-in products are actively moving through the sales channel and not becoming dormant at retail or distribution points.
- Collaborate with field agents, logistics teams, and telesales representatives to monitor stock levels and ensure timely stock rotation.
- Support partners in building re-order habits and adherence to planogram guidelines, where applicable.
Target Delivery & Field Execution
- Meet and exceed regional monthly sales, collections, and partner expansion targets.
- Monitor key performance indicators such as conversion rates, partner engagement, and customer retention.
- Conduct routine field visits to support market activations, resolve partner challenges, and enhance product visibility in the region.
Data Reporting & Market Intelligence
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM or sales tracker system, including partner performance, order history, and collections.
- Provide regular reports on product movement, market dynamics, competitor activities, and feedback from the field.
- Work closely with the Business Intelligence or Strategy team to enhance data-driven territory planning and decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in channel development, sales, or business development—preferably within electronic industry.
- Proven track record of partner acquisition, sales growth, and territory expansion.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using CRM tools and reporting systems.
- Ability to travel extensively.
Preferred Attributes
- Knowledge of regional market dynamics and local distribution ecosystems.
- Experience working in or with agri-businesses, dealer networks, or rural distribution channels.
